Back off, Kim Jong-il!!!

For those of you that may not have heard.... there's a bit of a missile issue going on in North Korea.

And of course, South Korea, will be greatly affected... a country that has been war-free since the 1950's, despite never truly declaring peace with North Korea.
They are basically being forced to make decisions that could very well provoke war with their hostile, northern neighbor.

Clearly this is a terrible thing for the entire country and Asia, but also for the world.. and for Peace.
It would also be devastating for South Korea's adoption program, which would most certainly cease to be until long after a war is over....

So all we can do is pray that Kim Jong-il will back off and grow a freaking heart!!!

I know its in God's hands... Faith is just so hard sometimes. I mean, its real and I definitely feel it.. But my doubt is just as real... and I feel it too, sometimes painfully.

This dream of ours is soooo much bigger though... And we believe this will happen.
Period.

God placed this dream in our hearts... not so it could simply fade away, be discouraged, overwhelmed, wasted, or traded for something else... something easier.

No.

Stuart and I are meant to do this... just as we are meant to breathe, to laugh.. to be together.

Its like we're two pieces of something really great, but we're still missing a piece...
of us.

Hi! I found your blog through Little Bit O'Seoul and really enjoyed reading all of your posts. I love your writing style! I'd love to follow your journey, too. We can definitely relate to the money issue. We had to put our faith in God when we began because we pretty much none of the $30,000. However, we've had two fundraisers, a walk-a-thon and a garage sale that totaled around $8,000. Amazing! Anyway, good luck getting all of your paperwork done!

Hey you two, There's a wonderful word about faith and unbelief..."Lord, I believe, help my unbelief!" We all experience this quirk of life. We love you and trust Father is totally in control. Our hearts are bare before Him. He know all and desires out utmost devotion to Him. That's where faith and unbelief battle. As we told each other in Nam when we left on the choppers each day...Keep the Faith!! Love you more each day, Mom and Dad
