Conversion cribs, blogs, and future paperchasing..
We are officially signed up for the "All About Adoption" seminar!!
At "Heaven Sent Children" Adoption Agency in Murfreesboro, TN... March 10, 2009
Its stupid that we're getting a little antsy already. We actually moseyed our happy/crazy butts into Pottery Barn Kids this weekend and looked at a crib... seriously.
Okay, we aren't obsessed yet or anything! It was just so cute! :) And they totally have these cool conversion things that switch the cribs into toddler beds and then into a twin bed. Who knew?? Well, apparently the PB lady knew because she looked at me like I was psychotic when I asked how long a baby is in a crib... like how old usually when they get to use that cool conversion thingy ? She said 2 or 3. I had no idea! 3... really??
I don't think my nephews were in their cribs for 3 years. That's pretty old, isn't it? And big.
Hmmmmm.... Maybe the PB Kids clerk isn't the baby-guru she thinks she is...
On another note, I've been stalking other blogs. I am so thankful for the info people have written about their own current and past adoption experiences. Hopefully at some point, mine can serve as inspiration for someone else.
As we continue our pre-paperchasing extravaganza! :) You adoption peeps, know what I'm talking about!
